SCONUL scheme access to SOAS, London

Sconul Access Reference card holders will not be able to access the School of Oriental and African Studies Library (SOAS) from March 19th - 8th June 2012, inclusive. This affects the following users: external undergraduates and taught postgraduates (Masters); no new cards will be created for Band B , B Ref, and C. There will also be no Vacation Reference Access for all external users during the months of June - September 2012. Existing cardholders will not be affected, including Band A, and SOAS will create new SCONUL Access cards for Research and staff users with valid institutional cards only. Please Note: SOAS have been regularly reaching/surpassing their building capacity, so the Library reserves the right to refuse entry if they become too full. Further restrictions will be introduced during the summer when the Olympic Games are in progress. These will be advertised (on SOAS Web pages) as soon as they are confirmed.
