Come into the Library and try out our new self service points, which allow you to borrow and return books, DVDs and CDs quickly and easily. Just touch the screen to select an option, and then place multiple books, DVDs or CDs on top of the white pad under the screen to borrow or return them. Unlike with our previous self service machine, there is no longer any need to scan the barcode inside the cover of your books.
The self service terminals also tell you if any items are on hold for you ready to collect, and if there are any charges on your account. Look out for self service chip and pin card payment coming soon.
Our new self service terminals have been provided through the SWWHEP Virtual Academic Library project.
