Courtesy notices for students and staff

The LRC is pleased to announce that courtesy notices will be sent to students with 8 week loans from January 2013.

These notices will provide a reminder of the due date several days before books and other resources need to be returned, and will be sent to your usual University email account.

University staff are also welcome to take advantage of this service.  To ensure staff receive the notices correctly, we will need to check your email address.  Please contact us if you would like to receive notices with confirmation of your university email address, or call in to your campus library.

Mae’n bleser gan y CAD gyhoeddi yr anfonir hysbysiadau cwrteisi at fyfyrwyr â benthyciadau 8 wythnos o fis Ionawr 2013.

Bydd yr hysbysiadau hyn yn eich atgoffa am y dyddiad dychwelyd ychydig o ddyddiau cyn bod angen dychwelyd llyfrau ac adnoddau eraill, ac fe’u hanfonir at eich cyfeiriad e-bost arferol yn y Brifysgol.

Mae croeso i staff y Brifysgol fanteisio ar y gwasanaeth hwn hefyd. Er mwyn sicrhau bod staff yn derbyn yr hysbysiadau’n gywir, mae angen i ni wirio eich cyfeiriad e-bost. Cysylltwch â ni os hoffech chi dderbyn hysbysiadau gan gadarnhau eich cyfeiriad e-bost yn y Brifysgol, neu galwch yn y llyfrgell ar eich campws.

Y Cwad Closure - this Friday

Y Cwad (The Quad) will be closed on Friday.

Carmarthen Campus only: Please submit your assignments in the Library on Friday.  A room will be made available by the Library entrance where LRC staff will accept assignments between 9am and 3pm.    

The group study rooms will be unavailable on Friday, and any students with advance bookings will be contacted separately to confirm cancellation.  The Quiet Study Room in CJ104 will remain open and will be available to throughout the day. 

Supplies from the University Shop will be available to purchase from the Library between 9am and 4.30pm.

Campws Caerfyrddin yn unig: A wnewch chi gyflwyno eich aseiniadau yn y Llyfrgell ddydd Gwener os gwelwch yn dda? Bydd ystafell ar gael wrth y fynedfa Llyfrgell lle bydd staff y CAD ar gael i dderbyn aseiniadau rhwng 9am a 3pm.

Ni fydd yr ystafelloedd astudio i grwpiau ar gael ar ddydd Gwener ychwaith, a byddwn yn cysylltu ag unrhyw fyfyrwyr sydd wedi’u neilltuo ymlaen llaw ar wahân i gadarnhau hyn. Bydd Ystafell Astudio Dawel  CJ104 ar agor ac ar gael trwy gydol y dydd.

Bydd cyflenwadau o Siop y Brifysgol ar gael i'w prynu yn y Llyfrgell rhwng 9:00yb -16:30yp.

Christmas Loan Periods

From Thursday 6^th December, most items you borrow from the Library will be issued until Wednesday 9^th January 2013.
Yellow and Blue Band items, journals, laptops and MacBook computers will be subject to the usual loan periods.

Work on the lower floor has started, concentrating on offices, study rooms and the Confucius Institute Reading Rooms.  Part of the lower floor remains open to users.
