Thatcher Files now available online!

The National Archives has published online for the first time the official papers of one of Britain's most iconic political figures. From today, the prime ministerial files of Margaret Thatcher's first year in power can be searched for free.
To coincide with the 20th anniversary of Margaret Thatcher's resignation from Number 10, over 100 records from The Prime Minister's Office (PREM files) have been newly digitised in a joint project by The National Archives and The Margaret Thatcher Foundation.

Hudoliaeth a Dewiniaeth - Arddangosfa Ar-lein

"Pa werth sydd i ffaglau, golau a sbectol, os na fyn pobl weld". Heinrich Khunrath, Amphitheatrum Sapientiae (Khunrath, 1609)

Mae dull Ysgol Hudoliaeth a Dewiniaeth Hogwarts o astudio hudoliaeth ychydig yn wahanol i ddull Prifysgol Cymru Y Drindod Dewi Sant. Er bod Hogwarts yn cynnig hyfforddiant rhagorol mewn dewiniaeth ymarferol, hyd yn oed os yw braidd yn beryglus ar adegau, mae Prifysgol Cymru Y Drindod Dewi Sant yn cynnig cyfle i ddatblygu dealltwriaeth ddamcaniaethol o hanes deallusol a diwylliannol hudoliaeth.

Yn yr arddangosfa hon mae detholiad o lyfrau sy'n berthnasol i'r astudiaeth o Hudoliaeth a Dewiniaeth sy'n cael eu cadw yn y casgliadau hanesyddol yn Llyfrgell ac Archifau Roderic Bowen, lle gall pob un o fyfyrwyr Prifysgol Cymru Y Drindod Dewi Sant ymgynghori â hwy.

Witchcraft and Wizardry - Online Exhibition

'What use are torches, light or eyeglasses, if people will not see’. Heinrich Khunrath, Amphitheatrum Sapientiae. (Khunrath, 1609)

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David differ somewhat in their respective approaches to the study of magic. Whereas Hogwarts provides an excellent, if at times hazardous, training in applied wizardry, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David offers the opportunity to develop a theoretical understanding of the intellectual and cultural history of magic.

This exhibition shows a small selection of books relevant to the study of Witchcraft and Wizardry that are kept in the historic collections at the Roderic Bowen Library and Archives, and that are available for consultation to all students at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
